Full-synthetic oils generally support longer intervals than conventional formulations. We follow the manufacturer's recommendation and document every service on your record.
Maintenance Guide
Seasonal maintenance guidance
Road salt, potholes, and wide temperature swings place significant demands on your vehicle. The following items are worth staying ahead of each season.
Winter
- Test your battery — cold cuts cranking amps by up to 50%. Most batteries fail in Jan–Feb.
- Switch to winter-rated washer fluid rated to at least -20°F.
- Check tire pressure weekly. Every 10°F drop = ~1 PSI loss.
- Inspect wiper blades before the first snow — replace annually.
Summer
- A/C blowing warm? Recharge is a symptom, not a fix — get the system leak-tested.
- Check coolant condition and level before highway trips down the shore.
- Inspect belts and hoses for cracks — heat accelerates rubber degradation.
- Rotate tires every 5,000 miles for even summer road wear.
Year-round
- Check oil level monthly, especially in engines over 75,000 miles.
- Address dashboard warning lights within a week, not a month.
- Have brakes inspected at every tire rotation — it's free with us.
- Keep tire pressure at the door-jamb spec, not the sidewall max.
Battery age
Replace at 4–5 years, even if it still starts.
Fluid check
Monthly under-hood peek catches 80% of issues early.
Tire pressure
Check first thing in the morning, cold.
